Hotel Indigo® - Stratford upon Avon stands opposite The Bard's last home and just a short walk from where he was born. Each of the 93 rooms are styled to honour the medieval market town's most famous son with added luxury amenities like Egyptian cotton linens, spa-inspired bathrooms, and 40-inch flatscreen TVs. The hotel beautifully captures the architecture and style of the 16th-century buildings that would have stood here more than 400 years ago. It's also ideally situated just a five-minute walk from the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre and close to the antique stores, little galleries, cosy pubs and cafes that make Elizabethan England come alive in the present day.

The Brief
Siemlus were approached by Castlebridge to to provide our turnkey technology services to one of their many Indigo Hotels.
This hotel was formerly The Falcon Hotel, where Siemlus provided WiFi and broadband lines to. Once the rebrand and refurbishment was to happen, Siemlus by then were a preferred choice by St Jame's Hotel Group, and were asked to more involved in the complete technology wrap for what we could provide.
Our Approach
This was a huge task for Siemlus and one we were keen to show our expertise and skills. From working with all contractors, designers and operators, from the very beginning of this re-brand and refurbishment, Siemlus was an integral part of the refurb phase and opening. We had knowledge of the building and services, being involved when this property was called 'The Falcon Hotel' and this can be very useful, for ourselves and others to lean on when needed.

We worked closely with owners, operators, designers, electrical contrators, main contractors and more, to supply and offer our services and expertise.
Technology
Even with a few other technology companies providing telecoms, IT and more, by the time the hotel was open a year.

One of the key objectives which was achieved was the ability for Siemlus to completely take over, manage, and support every single data and technology element for this property, something we believe is a first in the industry.
